Word On The Street

The lead therapist and I arranged a side-by-side trail of the the MOTOmed Viva 2 and the Omnicycle at the rehab facility, where my fiancée is battling to overcome spinal cord injury. One kick of the tires and I could tell that the MOTOmed put the word, Durable, in the phrase, Durable Medical Equipment. And the test trials my fiancée took proved it! It just feels like German engineering at its finest and we chose it over the Omnicycle, no contest! Within one week my fiancée noticed significant improvement in her strength and motor function, so much so that we have since purchased the FES version of the MOTOmed.  If you or a loved one have suffered a spinal cord injury, you can't afford not to own a MOTOmed!

Display LoupeMOTOmed is widening its product range in 2009 by adding new accessories.
Introducing the display magnifying glass:

Display Loupe
(item no. 315):

1
Display loupe with metal clip
2 Magnification (distance)
3 Perspective angle setting

Applications:
MOTOmed Viva 2, Gracile 12 for children, Letto and Letto 2.

For patients with visual impairment who are unable to read and follow the information on the MOTOmed operating panel.

Advantages and benefits for the user:
  1. up to 30% screen enlargement
  2. individually adjustable
  3. quick and easy tracking of training data
  4. enables users to operate MOTOmed independently
  5. easier application of the bio-feedback programs  (symmetry, Four-Segment Coordination MOTOmax, ...)
  6. easy to install and remove by fixating to the operating panel

Technical solution:
The Display Loupe is mounted onto the MOTOmed operating panel with a metal clip.
Using the  2-dimensional setting the loupe can be optimized according to the seating position/perspective.
By using the focus setting and the magnification scale (from 2cm/0,79 in. to 3cm/1,18 in.) the distance between the display and the loupe can also be adjusted.

Should you have any questions about this accessory or any other MOTOmed items, feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Irma Handzic
