Christmas tree

Instead of being a time of unusual behavior, Christmas is perhaps the only time in the year when people can obey their natural impulses and express their true sentiments without feeling self-conscious and, perhaps, foolish.  Christmas, in short, is about the only chance a man has to be himself.  ~Francis C. Farley

Pedal Radius Quick Adjustment Radius Adjustment
Item no. 507 or 507N
  • if frequent changes of the pedal radius are necessary (e.g. in facilities)
  • for quicker adjustment of the pedal radius without tools: to adjust the extent of motion to the individual joint mobility and to the varying heights of patients
  • adjustable in 4 levels (from 4.5 to 12.5 cm/1.8 to 5 inches) which guarantees precise matching on both sides and thus, ensures true running
  • recommended for patients with joint stiffening (contractures) and spasms
Experience report MOTOmed letto, viva2

Dear Mr. Dangel,

Our physiotherapy team works in the internal medicine clinic of the Charité Campus Mitte. We mainly treat immobile patients with internal and oncological diagnoses. Since 4 months we use your MOTOmed offer mainly with patients confined to bed. The indication spectrum of the MOTOmed therapy systems in our clinic contained all oncological diseases, pulmonary illnesses to intensive care patients with artificial respiration obligation.

We use these systems mainly for building up muscle strength, training of coordination, but also for the passive movement therapy of the joints and for the stimulation of the venous return.

We documented all patients in a written therapy plan with individual adjusted therapy parameters over the entire treatment period with the MOTOmed. The combination with the physiotherapy has proven to be very supporting.

Particularly our very weak oncological patients could achieve therapeutic successes through the small resistance levels and the possibility of the passive movement taking over if the patient fatigues. They went motivated and invigorated to their therapy afterwards.

The patients with pulmonary fibrosis, who are waiting for a pulmonary transplantation in our clinic, have to maintain and increase their muscle strength until the date of transplantation. The patients find the MOTOmed therapy system a precious alternation to the daily physiotherapy due to the long hospital stay.

The positive feedback of our patients, the objective improvement in performance and the positive psychological effects convinced us of your therapy systems.
